Double Room to rent in large shared house, centrally located in the leafy green Bitterne Park area. One double room available, being very large this is also suitable for couples at a small extra cost. The house has modern contemporary feel comprising a fairly new kitchen & 2 bathrooms with 2 new showers installed in January. The current tenants are very friendly and welcoming! :)

The rent is INCLUSIVE OF ALL BILLS - council tax, electric, gas, water & TV license. Also available to use is a fantastic large range cooker, washing machine & dishwasher. And the house benefits from High Speed Broadband, gas central heating and a combi-boiler for that all important, instant hot water!

All rooms have been recently painted by decorators and we have a cleaner that visits weekly to clean the communal areas; kitchen, living/dining area, 2 bathrooms and halls & stairs.

The house itself is situated opposite Riverside Park, directly in front of the Tennis Courts and Golf Course - the views are lovely 😊

Very well located for use of the M27 & M3 links. Southampton Airport Parkway is only 4 miles away, providing access to London Waterloo and of course Southampton Airport itself. Even closer are both the Swaythling train station & Bitterne train station for those wishing to travel towards Fareham, Portsmouth & direct into Gunwharf Quays.

There is a local convenience store as well as a local old fashioned English pub. Dentists, Doctors & Post Office is also very nearby, as well as other conveniences; many different takeaways, coffee shop, cafe, beautician, hair salon, florist, bakery & more.
Free Parking is available outside of the house, as well as a large overflow car park across the road.

Within easy reach of St Mary’s, Southampton’s football stadium. Southampton’s city centre & historic waterfront is only 10 minutes away.

Southampton University & Solent University are also very close, easily connected via the local bus routes or via car.

The Riverside park opposite, boasts some lovely walks or bike rides, especially alongside the River Itchen. The locally famous Annual Duck Race is actually held on the river across from the house!

The active minded of us can enjoy the delights of Woodmill Activity Centre, located just 1 minute from the house. Everything from kayaks & canoes, to rock climbing & abseiling, there is something for everyone. For those that are more adventurous, a notable hike is the Itchen Navigation Walk which takes you through the more rural parts of the county of Hampshire, right from the doorstep all the way to Winchester.

We are a husband & wife team, who live very local to the property and are keen to make sure we will do everything we can to ensure you have an enjoyable time at our house, regardless of the length of your stay :))
