Double room in friendly houseshare

Hey there,

One of our housemates is sadly leaving in October, and we're looking to find a friendly, clean and respectful person to take her room. Ideally we are looking for a professional or postgrad student who works regular hours. We are both adventurous and outdoorsy types and are looking for similar.

Bills come to ~£130 each per month. The room includes bed/mattress, wardrobe, shelving units and small chest of drawers.

It's a chill house: we keep it tidy and clean once a week, enjoy dinner together on occasion and go out together from time to time. As well as the three bedrooms we have a living room and spare room, so there is plenty of space for 3 people if you enjoy quiet time alone. We get on well and we're an open household with good communication.

My name is Will, I'm 31 and work/study at National Oceanography Centre. I work away at sea up to 7 weeks at a time, typically once or twice a year. I love the outdoors and have a campervan which I get away in whenever I have the chance. I play guitar and sing but never late when my housemates are in bed. I really enjoy live music and I spend my summers playing cricket.

Javier is a linguist and works at Southampton uni. He likes cycling and climbing, and enjoys going for a beer. He loves a political discussion if you're into that.

We are both in long distance relationships and so our respective partners visit occasionally.

In the house we've got lots of plants, records+player, plenty of books, so bonus points if you can add to these. We both like cooking - Javier is veggie and I mostly eat veggie food but i'm not strict about it.
