We are Catherine 40 and Darrell 44. We are both pretty laid back and easy to get along with. We have a lovely spacious double bedroom in a large 4 bedroomed detached house, with lots of outdoor space. There is off road parking and plenty of secure storeage for bikes, golf clubs etc...

You would not be paying for just a room instead you are welcome to share the house and garden as much as you'd like. If you prefer to keep yourself to yourself in your room, that is fine too. We just hope this is somewhere you can call home.

The room is fully furnished with a double wardrobe, large chest of drawers, tall thin set of drawers, double bed, desk and chair.

The bathroom has a large shower enclosure with a large rainfall shower and heated towel rail at one end. There is a bath with a shower attachment at the other end. While it is not an ensuite, we have an ensuite shower room so it is rare you would have to share.

The kitchen has plenty of cupboard, fridge and freezer space. It comes equipped with a microwave, dishwasher, 2 washer dryers as well as an induction hob and double oven. We supply all crockery and cooking utensils, tupperware etc so you can move straight in.

The house really has to be seen inside to be appreciated.

Well situated for Southampton City and links to J7, J8 and J5 of M27, there are regular buses and a 10 mins walk into Bitterne centre will provide Sainsburys, Banks, Pure Gym etc All the main supermarkets are within easy distance too!

There is a Tesco/Esso petrol station within easy walking distance. It is excellent as a corner shop for the odd forgotten thing and is open early until late.

We have a cleaner who comes every week and cleans your bathroom and all communal areas.

We have a friendly resident golden retriever so a dog lover is a must. He isn't allowed upstairs so he won't be following you into your room.

Available from 1 August as current lodger moved in with boyfriend.
