THE ROOM
This room is a good size measuring 13.28msq. There is a double bed, bedside table, chest of drawers and huge storage cupboard; perfect if you have a lot of stuff. There is also a desk/office chair (ideal if you work from home). This room is located on the first floor in the middle of the house.
THE HOUSE
The house is located on Cranbury Avenue in the SO14 postcode. It is a large post Victorian 6 bedroom property. It has a nice homely feel when you enter the front door with tall ceilings and some period features. There is also a lovely small garden at the rear of the property with an apple tree and some lovely plants and shrubs. The house is fully HMO compliant with interlinked smoke alarms, fire doors and door closers.
THE LOCATION
The location is ideal if you need access to the City Centre, the Docks or Portswood. A short walk or bike ride to the Solent University and within close reach of West Quay and London Road. It is also walking distance to Warsash Maritime Academy, Jury's Inn and employers in the City Centre. The RSH Hospital is also a mere 1 minute walk! The area itself is very vibrant with many nationalities living. There are lots of cash and carry shops on St Mary’s Road, and a few Eastern European grocery stores also in addition to restaurants serving up delicious food.

The church of St Lukes was erected in 1852-53 built in neo-Gothic style. It is now used as a Sikh Temple (Gurdwara) and is located on top of Cranbury Avenue/Onslow Road.

There is permit on street parking available. It is zone based parking so once you receive your permit you can park on other designated streets also.

In terms of public transport, the nearest bus-stop is around a 3 minute walk where you can catch a bus to Portswood and beyond. Southampton Central station is one mile away (20 minute walk).
