I have a king sized bedroom with en-suite available October 7th in my modern home.
The house:
The house was bought from a property developer who basically re-did everything. He put in two extensions (kitchen and loft conversion), new downstairs and upstairs bathroom, guttering, boiler, garden and patio, carpets, every room repainted, flooring...you get the picture. Its a four bedroom property, with 2 en suites, downstairs loo, and main bathroom. Downstairs i have a lounge with a 65in OLED TV with fibre 600mb broadband, netflix, amazon prime & Disney. I also have another 55in TV in the kitchen (again with netflix, prime, Disney) incase two people want to watch different stuff. The kitchen is open plan with an island, big american fridge freezer, dishwasher, plenty of cupboard space, tons of cooking appliances etc.
The garden:
I am west facing so we get the sun until about 7:30/8pm in the summer. I have corner outdoor garden furniture on the patio that seats 10 people and beautiful little garden. In the summer i have lots of hanging baskets, flowers, home grown raspberries (my pride & joy), lettuce and strawberries.
The (advertised) room:
The room is well lit, has a king sized bed, wardrobe, chest of draws, bedside table, tv on the wall and en suite bathroom. I also have another 2 double bedrooms that I do not let out and keep spare for guests, friends, family etc that you are also welcome to use.
The housemate
I (chris- 33) have a housemate currently but she is soon to be moving out (hence the ad). I live on the top floor (loft conversion). I am a young professional & are looking for someone similar (no students sorry). I work offshore so i'll be home for a few weeks, and then away for a few weeks etc etc. i’m pretty easy going and like eating good food, drink, beach evenings, going out out, buying endless house plants, cinema, holidays etc. I’m very clean and the house is kept pretty spotless & I would kindly expect the same from you.
The area:
I live right by a Co-op &, a 2 min walk from Lidl, 5 mins from Tesco & 10 min walk from fratton train station. There is off street parking down our road and around the area. Our road is also off Albert road (if you're from pompey it needs no intro, if you're not from pompey- it has loads of quirky shops, restaurants, curry houses, pubs, bars etc. We're also a 10 min walk from Canoe Lake/ Southsea seafront, and a 20/25 min walk from Osbourne/ Palmerston/ Gunwarf Quays.
