One Double Room Available in Cockfosters

A spacious double room is available in my large, comfortable house in Cockfosters. Eight minutes walk to the tube station (Piccadilly line) - 30 minutes journey time to King's Cross. Bus stops very close by for neighbouring suburbs, Potters Bar, Enfield, Southgate, East Barnet, High Barnet. Moments away from grocery stores, cafes, restaurants and post office in a pleasant suburban neighbourhood. Off-street parking sometimes available on the driveway, and usually on the road. There's also a large garden with patio and garden furniture to enjoy in summer.

The room is light and bright, overlooking the garden. It has a double bed, quadruple fitted wardrobes, dressing table, desk and chair, mirror, bedside cabinet and lamps and window blinds. You would have your own bathroom. There's a fully equipped eat-in kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine, as well as a dining room and downstairs guest toilet,

This is a quiet household and would suit postgrads, academics, or professionals. Naturally I would like my housemate to be clean and tidy, preferably with some life experience in different environments - and not into partying. I am a mature, sociable woman and pretty self-contained. But I'm up for chatting over a coffee or sharing a meal in or out occasionally. However I'm aware that we need our own private space and have our own lives, friends and interests. If you are new to London I'm happy to help you find your way around initially - I enjoy being a "tourist" and "tour guide" in this great city.

You would need to be OK with a small, friendly, non-shedding dog who would not invade your space (unless you wanted her to!) She is a vital part of the household and very cute. We regularly walk in the local parks.

Please note that this room is for one person only, and no overnight visitors.
