Master En-suite with private living room

Hello,

Thanks for taking an interest in my spare room in my home in Harpenden. I’m looking for another lodger following another successful house share with my current housemate who will be returning to France after two and a half years with us. My previous lodger before this was with us for over five years. We would like to live with someone who has their own interests, but also would like to spend time with us as a family from time to time. This is a really happy home and you would be a part of that.

The room:

- It’s the master with a double bed and en-suite shower room.
- There is plenty of storage in the form of wardrobes. There is also a chair and footrest, chest of drawers, bedside tables and a desk with chair.
- As well a the bedroom, there is use of a ***separate private living room*** which is located next to your bedroom. It contains a chair and footrest and a TV which you can link up to Netflix. It is already linked to Sky and Amazon Video.

The house is a detached four-bed with a garage, so room to store your bike if you have one. There is also a large garden and patio with an eight-seater teak table and chairs. You can also park directly outside the house.

The property is just a 15-minute walk from Harpenden train station and town centre. The house is to be shared with me and my partner, an engineer and a primary school teacher. We’re an easy going professional couple in our late 30s. We are chatty and sociable and like to keep active. We are looking for a like-minded professional to share the house with. My 8-year-old son will be staying in the property periodically (mostly every other weekend), so the person will need to be accommodating of this. We have a 7-year-old Labrador who is extremely well-trained and well-behaved. She is only allowed downstairs and she is not allowed in the kitchen.

The rent is £625pcm including all bills.

The room is available from 1st Sept.
