The House

Converted Living Room, very spacious, unfurnished however possibility to have the room part-furnished with a double bed, side table, shelvings / cloth hanger. if you are interested in the furniture - please ask.

Located on the ground floor, this room is l a r g e !

18 square meters - with high ornate ceilings, wall lamps and a fireplace – tho the fireplace cannot be used.

All of our rooms are Sole Occupancy Only which means that the house is roomy and that there is no queue to use the amenities.

The rest of the house:

The kitchen is our communal area and this is where we come across one another and sometimes stay way after our ‘bedtime’.

Please note that the dining room is not yet available but the room will be refurbished in the coming months. The back porch is being renovated and we have to wait for this to be finished first.

Location location location!

The house is 4 minutes away (walking) from Rye House station which means that we are 25 minutes away from Tottenham Hale (Victoria line), 35 minutes away from Hackney and 45 minutes away from Liverpool Street Station.

Pretty cool location also in terms of walks etc… Lee Valley is around the corner, there is also a natural reserve (bird watching) 10 minutes walk.

The amenities / how clean are we?

We are very clean and have a clean as you go policy.
The house is kept in house-proud condition at all time and you can safely invite a friend without dreading the state of the shared amenities…

This means that if you are sloppy in the kitchen / after your meals dirty dishes cleaning and tidying or, worse, you are unaware of the trails you leave in the toilet, then this house is NOT for you. We will drive you mad and you will drive us, well, crazy… ahahah

Currently, the housemates are: an 30ish chap that works around the corner; and the landlord, a gay French lady who has been in the UK for over 20 years. Yes, we are a LGBT friendly house and we hope you are OK with that.

There are 3 toilets in the house but you will be using mostly one and said toilet will be shared with, at least, one other person

There is one wetroom (shower room) and you will be sharing this room with, at least, one other.

Guests are kept to a minimum but of course you can have them! It is just that they are not meant to be regular.
