My name is Steph and I currently own a 2 bed, 2 bathroom flat in Letchworth Garden City. I have owned the property for 10 years

The double bedroom on offer for rent is a fully furnished en-suite with built in wardrobes and a bed. The en-suite bathroom has a built in shower cubicle, toilet, sink, mirror and heated towel rail

The flat has been kept in great condition by the current tenants so someone who likes to keep things clean and tidy is a must. As well as the two bedrooms there is a shared living room and adjoining kitchen (also fully furnished). There is also another bathroom which Emma (the lead tenant) uses as her main bathroom and can also be used by guests. There are two built in cupboards in the hallway, one is an airing cupboard and the other is storage which contains a washing machine

There is one allocated parking space which Emma has sole use of, but there is also ample marking on the roads surrounding the building

The current tenant, Emma, is a friendly sociable person so would love someone who spends time in the shared living room watching some TV and having a chat (with the occasional glass of wine!). Although you are renting a room, Emma wants you to feel you are jointly renting the flat and wants it to feel as homely for you as it does her.

The room will be available from 1st Feb 2024. You will need to pay £700pcm including bills and you will need to provide a security deposit of £500. You will be renting this property jointly under an assured shorthold tenancy agreement which means although you are paying £500 each as rent; you are jointly renting the whole property from me, the landlord, at £1000pcm
