Hi, I’m Nik. I recently bought a 2 bed terraced Victorian house in Watford and fully renovated it in 2019.

The house itself has been refurbished to a high standard. The new lodger will enjoy full access to the house including; the living room (with smart TV), kitchen (fully equipped and with appliances including a dishwasher), dining room, new bathroom and garden. The lodgers bedroom is a large double room with plenty of room for storage. The bathroom is not an en suite but it will be mainly yours (as I will be using the other bathroom, which is the en-suite). A viewing is strongly recommend.

The house is located in central Watford (with on street permit parking, which you can have) and is about a 5 minute walk to Watford town centre which boasts a brilliant shopping centre, IMAX cinema, bowling alley, large supermarket (tesco), lots of restaurants and bars. Watford High Street station is a 5 min walk and Bushey Station is a 12 min walk which can take you into London in just 17 minutes. The M1 and M25 are also around 5 mins away by car. Watford General Hospital is around a 10-15 min walk. The house is by a park and the award winning Cassiobury Park is also a 5 min drive away.

For me, choosing the right lodger is important. I’d like to find a working professional who I can become friends with. Having someone who is clean, cleans up after themselves and respects the house, treating it like their own is really important to me.
In terms of some info about me: I’m a 29 year old professional who works for a bank in eCommerce. I’d describe myself as an extrovert. I love to backpack and have visited close to 50 countries and am also working with a refugee charity in my spare time. Relaxation wise, I like to run and go to the gym, hike, going to festivals (love most music including house, R&B and reggaton ) and also staying in for a Netflix binge.
