Who are we looking for? This is critically important because we are looking for the right person first and foremost. We will not respond to any enquiry which does not fit our profile.

We want someone over mid-30s and female prefered.

A reliable, responsible and considerate individual aware of our neighbours and their harmony.

A person who would like a safe environment, a good community and to be in a situation where they can quietly go about their own lives in comfort.

Most of all we want someone who likes to live in a clean space.

We are looking for the right person rather than to just quickly rent the apartment.

Welham Green has a good collection of shops which is unusual in English villages nowadays.

Just walk across the village green, and you will find:

Post Office***Newsagents***Convenience Store***Hairdresser***Barber***Bakery***Chemist***Dry Cleaner***Garage with Petrol Pumps***Hardware Store.

There is also a superb cafe which does classic fried breakfasts and the usual pie, chips and peas but also features fabulous noodle dishes made by the Chinese proprietor.

An Indian restaurant of good quality where you can sit down in comfort and a decent decor or take away some of their own specialities.

The Fish and Chip shop does a great big bit of fish and there is a Chinese Takeway.

Welham Green is a very lucky village to have preserved such facilities, it is very unusual.
