Double room in a 3 bed Victorian house. The room is bright and spacious, on the first floor with south facing window looking over the back garden. There is a family bathroom upstairs which is next to this room, and a separate toilet downstairs. There is a large kitchen/diner, a double reception, and a large back garden so plenty of room to relax in.

The room has hard wood flooring, and is fully furnished with a double bed, bed-side table, wardrobe, chest of drawers, desk and chair.

We have all the usual appliances in the house: washing machine, tumble drier, microwave, large American fridge/freezer etc. There's also an electric Yamaha piano and you are welcome to play on it.

The house is located on Elmers End Road, literally 2' walk to Birkbeck station with trains to London Bridge and trams to Beckenham Junction and East Croydon. Elmers End station with train running to Charing Cross and Kent House station with trains to Victoria and into the City is within walking distance. There are a number of buses running in front too.

The rent includes all bills, council tax, TV licence and broadband internet.

You'll share with our family (2 adults and a 9 year old girl). We are both professionals working full time in central London. Our daughter is at school from 8am - 6pm Mondays to Fridays. We are also out and about most of the time during the weekends too. When we are at home we tend to have a quiet and relaxing time, although every now and then we'd love to socialise over dinners.

A little bit about ourselves: we both came to London from Vietnam a long time ago to study, but then fell in love with London and have made it our home since. We love meeting new people and travelling to new places. We share interests in photography, food/cooking, cycling, running, and reading.

We have been room sharing for many years (first as tenants and then as live-in landlords) so we understand very well how to make things works for both sides.
