Large 2nd floor bedroom available in Georgian townhouse in the popular Brompton area of Medway.

The room includes a double bed with brand new mattress, desk, chair, large chest of drawers and built in cupboard, WiFi and numerous electrical sockets. Reconfiguration of room can be discussed.

The room is accessed from the ground floor via two flights of stair which are cleaned weekly. The bedroom has an adjacent shower room with basin and w/c. The shower is shared in the morning but this can be discussed. The shower room is cleaned weekly.

On the first floor is a second common use bathroom which is cleaned weekly.

On the ground floor is a large common use kitchen which is cleaned daily. There is a six ring cooker, washing machine and dishwasher. You will have use of all crockery, pots, pans, whisks etc. To the rear of the house is a garden with a decking area which you will have access to. I do garden but sporadically.

There is free parking in the main part of Mansion Row and permit only parking in the lane.

My two sons (16 and 18) live with me half the week. This is a quiet family house in a lovely street and you can mix with us as much or as little as you like. The top floor of the house is well insulated from the rest of us if you choose to keep yourself to yourself. I cook every evening and am happy to discuss dinner arrangements

I have a cat (Mia). There is one local pubs. The house is within walking distance of: Chatham Station; Gillingham Station; Chatham Bus Station, Medway Maritime Hospital; Medway Park Sports Centre; the Medway University Campuses; the cinema and restaurants at Dockside as well as numerous excellent heritage sites such as Fort Amhurst; The Historic Dockyard; the Lines.

I would like the lodger to have DBS clearance so this would suit a teacher trainee, NQT, NQT+1, nurse, doctor, social worker etc.
