EXCELLENT double bedroom & bathroom available in our beautiful 5-bedroomed home in Locksbottom on the Orpington/Bromley borders, just by the PRUH Hospital (for single occupancy). We live in a beautiful tree lined EXCLUSIVE GATED PARK which takes you away from the hustle and bustle of our busy lives, with the 24-hour manned security.
The room offers a king size bed, large built in double wardrobes, desk and plenty of cupboards. You overlook our spacious back garden, however, the Park is extremely quiet with no through access. A full size bathroom including bath & shower, is right next door. On a day to day basis this is yours exclusively, but on occasions we will need use of it.
The room is available from 21 December (possibly a week earlier). We are a tidy family and are looking to find lovely non-smoking person who will respect our home. We are within a few minutes walk of the Princess Royal University Hospital, so ideal for anyone working there. Alternatively there are numerous bus stops just outside the park which take you to Bromley or Orpington train stations, with fast one stop trains to London, covering Charing Cross, Victoria, London Bridge, Waterloo East, Farringdon, Cannon Street . (Orpington station is 1.9 miles down hill if you prefer to walk!) From Orpington you can also go to Lewisham for connection to the DLR.
For drivers, we are right on the A21 which takes you up to Junction 4 of the M25.
The kitchen/dinner is the hub of the house, with cooker, American style fridge, dishwasher etc; and a washing machine in the utility room. The kitchen, your bedroom, bathroom and communal areas are all professionally cleaned fortnightly.
Room needs to be seen to be fully appreciated.
We have 3 cats and 1 small toy poodle dog, so you do need to be an animal lover!
The house is equipped with BT WIFI. All bills are covered in the cost quoted, including your share of the Council Tax and professional cleaner, gardener etc.
We have a substantial drive, should you require off street parking, with manned security to enter/leave the Park. We have a beautiful garden to relax in, which again is professionally maintained.
Local amenities include a large Sainsburys supermarket just across the road. There are pubs, cafes, many restaurants, Post Office, Dry Cleaners, Garage (with Marks & Spencer food) & many other local shops, just outside the Park.
