Affordable accommodation offered in KENT – TN15 area, excellent opportunity for a Female preferred Homesharers are looking to live in a lovely home.

We are a Not-for-Profit charity in London who run a Homeshare programme, where we find Homesharers who are willing to provide approximately 10 hours a week of help, support and companionship to a householder who has a spare room.

TRANSPORT
The nearest bus stop is 2 minutes’ walk
It’s a 21 minutes walk or bus ride to Bat and Ball Bat & Ball railway station is located on Bat & Ball Road in Sevenoaks in Kent. It is 25 miles 51 chains measured from London Victoria. The station is managed by Southeastern, however, all train services that call are operated by Thameslink.

HOUSEHOLDER
A lovely female in her 90’s, she has lived in Sevenoaks for the past 51 years, the last 28 of which have been in her current house, she originally trained as a primary school teacher and continued her interest in working with young children when her own family grew up by running a Brownie pack for many years. She likes reading biographies and detective stories, and enjoys watching films and TV, particularly period drama, quiz programmes and mystery series, she enjoys going to local concerts and the cinema and she belongs the groups which include U3A, a crafting group and the Trefoil Guild.

Given her age, she has become frail; and suffers from arthritis and COPD, and find mornings rather a struggle!
The ideal candidate would be someone who gets on with her and shares some of her interests and who would enjoy cooking and eating evening meals together.

ACCOMMODATION
There is a very pleasant ground floor annexe available to the homesharer. The accommodation consists of a single bed-sitting room with ample wardrobe and shelf space, wall-mounted TV, fully equipped kitchenette (fridge, microwave, two hotplates, sink) and an ensuite bathroom

Internet will be available

The room is available immediately subject to DBS and Reference checks and after an initial meeting has been organised.
