You will need winter income as income from farm is seasonal. At the farm for our new venture in spring will be 2 bed and breakfast units and a large Yurt that sleeps 6 with separate modern shower block.
Seasonal Income for you is expected to be £10,000 - £15k p. a. which will be formed by a 25% share in booking fees recieved from guests so it’s all fair, fun and exciting. A deal with more equity could be negotiated if you wish to be involved with marketing and progression of the business. It’s expected to be 4-6 hours work per day in peak season which would leave you flexible for other work too.
The accommodation offered is a modern self contained unit on the ground floor accessed through the log cabin and inside would be your own very spacious kitchen, open plan to large bed and wardrobe area with a beautiful spiral staircase leading up to a further storage room and access to your own shower and loo.
The property has electric gates for 24hr access and is very private. There is a female ground floor Tennant at the rear of the property, a further outside public loo and landlord lives upstairs to assist the business with intercom assistance and on site help/ maintenance man.
The glamping will start spring 2021 but am looking to settle the right person in ready for the new season and the start of the new venture. The room is subsidised by having ALL bills included and a modest rent. There is also the oppertunity to run your own business from here as a separate room is/ can be available to you by separate arrangement for whatever you want to do in there. It would suit treatments, massage work.
Suit single female poss. single mum as work is outside school pick up times. Friendly atmosphere, and one resident 8 year old very friendly Labrador.
Flexible terms/ work arrangements and the right candidate will be very happy here and well looked after with future prospects in the business.
The self contained living area is coming near to complete newly constructed, now painting and will be complete in the coming weeks. Photos posted soon.
