Hi there, so I have a room for rent in my home for someone staying on a mon-fri basis.
Its a detached 3 bed house, modern, new build style in a development 5 minutes walk from the fantastic Glasgow Fort shopping complex and only 6 miles East of Glasgow city centre.
It's £450 pcm which includes council tax, wifi and all utility bills.
The room has just been nicely freshened up. It has hanging space for clothes and a large sideboard for storage, with space underneath the bed too. I can provide bed linen and towels, if needed.
House has a south facing garden, which is partially decked and nice to sit out in summer or winter.
Looking for a new housemate to share my home. At the moment it’s myself and my current housemate Kevin who live here. Looking for a quiet, friendly housemate.
Most importantly, I have 2 wee dogs, so being a dog lover is a must :0)
Added a wee pic above.
I'm looking for another mature professional, ideally aged 40's/50/60's, who works mon-fri in Glasgow and goes home at weekends, either short term or long term, on a one month rolling contract. 1 months notice is required upon leaving and rent covered for that month and of course, I'd give you the same notice :0)
So... Where is the house located? We are just behind Glasgow Fort, which has fantastic amenities inc a DW gym and a new Everlast gym opening in Nov, which is from only £5 a month. A Vue Cinema, high street shops, such as Zara, River Island, TK Maxx and Cruise. There are also a number of restaurants including wagamama, Pret, TGI Fridays, Chiquitos and Nando's and Yo Sushi to name a few. For food shopping there's an M&S and a large Morrisons store with petrol station, which also stocks LPG fuel.
Also for EV drivers, there’s a rapid charger just over 1 mile from the house.
There are nearby links to M8, M74 and M73. An express bus to Glasgow city centre is a few mins walk away and the nearest train station, Gartcosh, has parking and is just 5 mins drive from the house.
The house is kept tidy and I'd expect you to do the same :0)
It is my home and a nice wee place to live in, so if you respect it as you would your own, then great!!
Obviously things break and get damaged from time to time, these things happen. I'd just ask that you repair or replace them like for like and just let me know. I'm friendly and approachable. Just like the Hoover :0)
The house is definitely not a party house. If you're the kind of housemate who falls in the door, banging around in the wee small hours, that's ok, but this isn't the house for you, sorry.
Any questions, feel free to send me a message.
Hopefully you're still with me, as this is pretty long. But if you think you fit the criteria, then feel free to get in touch for a viewing and a chat.
Warm regards,
Lynn
