Your room - bed space

Large room available for rent. Furnished with a single bed, 1xlarge and 1xsmall set of drawers, gas fireplace (it works), small 2 seater sofa, small dining table with chairs, a coffee table and a full length mirror. And bay windows facing East. We will be sharing bathroom, kitchen and hallway.

The area is quiet. Less than a 2 minute walk from Cessnock subway (leading to either the west end or city centre in 10 minutes). Both directions are also easily walkable (like 20/25 mins). There’s an ok sized co-op about 3 mins walk from the flat, there’s a few takeaways/shops/salons/cafe’ s round about.

The place is pretty dated! But the essentials including kettle, toaster, washing machine, fridge/freezer, George foreman, heating (gas central heating, and your room has two huge radiators) and shower are all in excellent working order. I don’t trust the oven one bit but you’re more than welcome to try it.

The flat is old tenements, only 3 stories, we are on first floor so it’s a flight of stairs - there’s no lift. On street parking, there’s usually always spaces.

I’m 29, work usual office hours and spend most of my free time in the gym. I’ve just started taking on hospitality weekend/agency shifts where I can (trying to save like mad to go travelling in July). Other than that I’d say I’m pretty easy going, happy to chit chat happy to leave people be.

All bills are included in the rent - that is, council tax, gas and electricity and broadband. Broadband is TalkTalk fibre.
