Bright Room in City Centre/West End Flat

Hi there!
I'm searching for a new flatmate from end of August/beginning of September.

The flat is bright throughout. Your room is a cozy double facing the building's backyard/small garden. Should you need more storage than available in the room, you're free to use either or both drawers in the hallway!
We share bathroom and kitchen and I really value tidiness and cleanliness in these shared spaces. The kitchen has a little lounge area, and the spacious bathroom benefits from a big window.
The whole flat runs on electricity so no gas in the building.
If you're a smoker, the backyard should serve you well.

I love the location of the flat—both Merchant City and the West End are about 20 minutes by foot and less so with public transport. Speaking of, Cowcaddens subway station is a 3-minute walk away.

As for me, my name is Melissa and I'm a 3rd-year student of Sociology/Economic Policy at GCU. I moved here from Germany in 2020. My interests include languages, art, philosophy, [newbie] weightlifting and [vegan] cooking, but singing, listening to and producing music is my main thing.
Beyond that, I like to think of myself as honest, welcoming, open-minded and reliable. I love deep talks (whatever that is to you) and evenings in as much as a good night out, especially after 2+ years of lockdowns!

It'd be cool if we shared an interest or two but I also love learning new things from the people around me.
More generally, I'm happy to make friends with my flatmate but I'm also completely fine giving people space. In any case, we should both be willing to do our share of the chores and communicate any issues or concerns clearly to ensure a calm atmosphere 🙂.
