Room to rent

Hello!

I am moving out of my room and I’m looking for someone to replace me in the flat from the 30/31st July. The room is a really great size, with tons of storage and an amazing view. The room has a queen sized bed, there is a desk which folds down, chest of drawers, bookcase, wardrobe and shelves under the window. The flat has a bathroom and then a second toilet and sink which is really handy when everyone is getting ready in the morning. There is also a really large kitchen which has all the essentials and two fridge/freezers.

You’d be sharing the flat with three guys, Todd who works at the climbing centre, Niall who works at the local trampoline park and Courtney who works at a local hotel.

We are looking for another professional to move in or a post-graduate student. Someone who can pay the bills on time and is prepared to clean up after themselves and when it’s their turn do the communal areas. The flat is great for having folk over, or for a very occasional party but obviously with everyone working we are not looking for a party animal but someone who is pretty responsible.

The landlord is great, he leaves us to get on with things unless we need him and then he is really good at sorting things out.

The breakdown of bills for the room are:

Rent - £295 (sorry was originally advertised as £280 but landlord has increased it)
Bills - £40 (paid with your rent to the landlord)
Internet - £8.90
Council Tax - £54.25

In total it works out at £398.15 which is pretty cheap for Byres Road. Just to note if you are a student then you still need to pay the council tax as the other three are working so the flat doesn’t get any discount, this is non-negotiable.

I’ve been living in the flat for five years now, and I will be really sad to move out, it’s in a great location, it’s a really great size and the tenants are responsible for replacing themselves in the flat when they move out so we want to find someone who’ll get on with everyone.
