Full Flat Rental:
If you would like to rent the entire flat (2 bedrooms) with all the furnishings, the cost is £850pcm. This would include all bills including council tax, heating, water, broadband etc. as well as bed linens and towels, but would only be available for a maximum of 3 months rental. The living room and Kitchen are bright and airy with two Juliette balconies and french windows which are great to have open when having breakfast. There are amazing views over to Glasgow city centre and the surrounding area which look fantastic at night.

There is a fully equipped kitchen with lots of pots and pans to assist you with cooking if you so chose but there are hundreds of take-away and home delivery options in Glasgow. There is also a dishwasher and washing machine to help you tidy up. We supply lots of little cooking basics like oil, herbs and spices.

The main living space has a lovely wrap around sofa with plenty of space for you to sit down in a bright open space. There is also an expandable dining table with 4 comfy chairs.

We can provide soft, clean linens and fresh large towels. All pillows, duvets and mattresses are hypoallergenic (of you don’t have your own pillows and duvets).

Access is simple and easy by car from the M8 motorway, the Clyde Tunnel and Glasgow ring road. Glasgow airport is less than a 10-minute drive which is great if you have an early morning or late evening flight. There are regular and affordable direct airport bus services from both airports to Glasgow City Centre. Our home is a 2-minute walk to Govan transport interchange with frequent underground train and bus services that offer fantastic connections to the West End, city centre and other parts of Glasgow. There are also loads of cheap and reliable taxi firms to easily get around - great for a night out in Glasgow or for visiting friends and family or any of Glasgow's hospitals.

Locally, there are several supermarkets and grocery stores selling all staples.. There is a lovely wee cafe, Cafe 13, which offers a warm and cosy environment to grab a coffee or light snack. On the other side of the Shopping centre is a great local, family butcher who sells tasty Scottish meat and pies - if you love steak - you must try his fantastic Aberdeen Angus T-bone steaks!!

In the summer months, you can grab the free Govan ferry across to the transport museum and Glasgow Tall ship, with easy access on to Partick and Byers road.

Housemates:
I travel and work away from home for much of the year so I am hardly ever there. My mother uses our bedroom for visits to the hospital once per month during the week and we use it when we are back in Glasgow at the weekends. To be clear, most of the time you really will have the whole place to yourself as if you were renting a 1 bedroom flat and not a room.

Access:
Wheel-chair users will find the wide door frames easy to navigate and deal with. We also have other equipment available for free with those with reduced or restricted mobility - so please don't be afraid to ask if you have any special requests.

Finally, as there are only two stairs at the front entrance and none at the back, it means that the apartment is great for those with limited mobility.

Guest access:
Guests have access to the most of the apartment, just not our bedroom which is off limits. The open plan kitchen, dining and living space is great for relaxing in the evening. The kitchen has a microwave, fridge/freezer, cooker and hob, washing machine and dryer and dishwasher. It is fully equipped with all pots, pans, cutlery and crockery.

The lounge has a large TV, Play station 2 and Chrome cast to play films and TV shows from your digital device (smart-phone or tablet) on the large TV - great for catch-up TV or BBC iPlayer. The whole apartment has access to superfast broadband.

Your bedroom has a standard king size bed, wardrobes and large mirrors.

The bathroom is clean, fresh and modern with a full-length bath and electric shower. There is shower gel, shampoo and conditioner available.

The whole apartment has central heating and is warm and cosy.

For younger children, there is a travel cot, baby bath and high chair. if you have any visitors or your family to stay.

At the property, there is off-street parking but sometimes this can become full, but don't worry, there is plenty of on-street parking.

Bi-Weekly Change Over:
A family member is on hand to welcome you to the flat and answer all your questions. They can be reached 24/7 and so are on hand for any emergencies as they live practically next door. Included in the price is a bi-weekly clean and a change of towels and clean bed linen if you like. It is everything you would want from a serviced apartment, just in the comfort of a warm and cosy home.

Extras:
Washed, ironed and pressed shirts, trousers and other washing can be arranged for a fee. Other services available are shopping including food, drinks and toiletries, especially important if your time is very limited or you know you will arrive late at night - Please just ask.
