One bedroom available in 2-bed flat. I am moving out to take up a job opportunity. The room is available starting April 20th. The room currently has a single bed, but can be switched out for double bed if you want. The room also comes with a dresser and a wardrobe. The flat has a shared bathroom, kitchen, and living room. There is a washer in the flat as well. The was updated about a year ago and getting some new touches this year as well, so everything looks pretty fresh.
Rent is £417 and deposit is also £400. Broadband is £15 a month. Utilities are about £50 a month, more or less depending on how much we use. In terms of council tax, I was a student so I suspect this will vary based on whether you are also a student.
The neighborhood is quiet and safe, but close to the best spots in West End. The location is great as everything is very close. Stores, restaurants, bars, and multiple grocery stores are all walking distance. The University of Glasgow is about a 10 minute walk. There is a subway stop and train station 5 mins walk and plenty of bus options nearby.
About the current tenant, his name is Angus, he moved here to complete a postgraduate degree. During the day he's in class and often away on weekend. He's on the rugby team so has practice during the week as well, so the flat is pretty quiet. He's tidy, polite, sociable, and laid back. Enjoys meeting new people and we always get along.
I can show the space today, Saturday, Sunday before noon, and Angus can show it in the next few weeks. Anything else, just ask.
