Sunny double room in large house Hest Bank

Good-sized, sunny double bedroom available in a clean and quiet spacious semi-detached house in Hest Bank. Sharing with a live-in landlady, dog and young teenage boy (around part of the time).

The House: The house has a very large room which is a kitchen, dining room and living space. There is another separate living room used as an office and which is used by the teenager! There is a utility with washing machine and space for drying clothes/wet kit. There is a downstairs toilet, and an upstairs bathroom which is shared and includes a shower, bath sink and toilet. The house is warm and dry with a modern boiler.

Outside: On drive parking, garage and large garden to rear.

The Room: This is a large bedroom with double bed and large wardrobe. It has space to put a desk and/or armchair. The room is south facing and has views over the garden. It is very private and not overlooked.

Location: There is a bus stop at the top of the road direct to Lancaster/Carnforth and it’s a 5min walk to Hest Bank beach and Lancaster Canal (you can cycle into Lancaster along the canal). We’re just up the coast from Heysham, so handy if you’re working at the power station but want to stay somewhere a bit leafier than Heysham/Morecambe.

Professionals or mature students preferred please. No smokers.

Interests: We are an outdoorsy family, and would be fine with a lodger with similar interests. We’re used to wet muddy kit, climbing gear, diving kit etc (loads of storage space in the garage). We’re very easy going and sociable but you do need to be willing to keep the house tidy.

The room is available to view by arrangement and is available to rent after Easter 2025.

Rent is £675 per calendar month, incl. bills. Wifi is included.

Deposit is £675.
