Large double room to rent in a luxury penthouse apartment. Includes large new hardwood desk (replaces the white one in video) and has stunning views looking out over the grounds and garden.

The penthouse is within an historic manor house, set in 6 acres of private gardens. The house is in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, within the peaceful village of Yealand Conyers.

There are incredible walks, woodland and views of the sea and Lake District fells just minutes from the doorstep. I have some pet hens in the garden, beehives plus hedgehogs and deer living in the grounds!

Yealand Conyers is located midway between Kendal and Lancaster and has an award winning pub (The New Inn, Yealand). There are supermarkets nearby (5-10 mins) and excellent transport links to M6.

Current occupants are myself (aged 40, run my own outdoor company called Adventure Solos) and my flatmate Claudia (aged 30, professional, working in Lancaster, of Italian origin and moved here via 10 years in London). We're clean, tidy and sociable professionals and sometimes socialise together with a walk around the village, visit to the the local pub or over an occasional board game.

The apartment has a main bathroom which would be shared between yourself and Claudia, as my room has an ensuite.

There is plenty of parking, high-speed fibre broadband, cleaners that come every other week, and all 'communal consumables' (i. e. toilet rolls, kitchen rolls, washing up liquid, sponges etc) are included.

Rent is £450 pcm plus bills of c£180 consisting of water bills, gas, electric, council tax, B4RN fibre broadband, cleaners.

I also currently employ a gardener for the flat’s private garden (nice big area) as well as the gardener we have for the communal garden areas but I cover this so that it's not an extra cost to you.

The room is available from mid December 2023.
