Close to the M6, good transport for non-drivers. The local shopping center is within 3 miles of the house and there is a local Asda for all the shopping that you need. Wigan is not too far for the cinema and pubs and clubs.
You will be sharing with a a woman in her 50s who is a professional. Very friendly and likes a laugh and easy going. I work shifts so you will have the house to yourself. I do have an active social life.
