This cottage is on the sunny side of Todmorden and gets the sun all day, with beautiful views over town from the front and views of allotments and wooded hills from the back. The upstairs living area has Velux windows and original beamed ceiling making it a beautiful and light space.

The cottage is attached to our family house but has all it's own amenities including kitchen, bathroom, open-plan living room, double bedroom and it's own front door opening onto Meadow Bottom Road.

We refurbished the cottage ten years ago and designed it to accommodate one person comfortably. However, we have had a couple living very happily in it for a couple of years but it was a bit of a squeeze for the two of them. We have recently insulated, re-plastered and decorated the cottage throughout, and refreshed the kitchen.

The cottage has central heating and a wood burning stove in the kitchen. There is wireless broadband and a FreeSat TV satellite installed.

We are a friendly and relaxed family of three living in the main part of the house. The cottage is self-contained with just a door leading off the kitchen connecting it to our area which is kept shut. Our neighbourhood is very friendly and we love living here.

Bills will be shared with us so there is an additional charge of £160/month to cover all main items including utilities, council tax, broadband etc.

The cottage doesn't have a garden of its own but we have a terraced garden and you would be welcome to take over the lower terrace if you would like a bit of space to do some gardening or hang some washing.

The cottage isn't really suitable for dogs but is probably fine for an indoor cat or smaller pets. We're happy to discuss this with you.
