Double bedroom in ground floor flat with garden

Hi, I'm Fran and I'm looking for a flatmate to live with me in my comfy flat close to town.

The flat is on a very peaceful road (no through traffic) just 20 minutes' walk from the city centre, in the Westcotes area. Nearby we have a good European supermarket (2 mins' walk), a Tesco Metro (5 mins' walk) and a large Tesco (10 mins' walk).

The flat itself is very light, and I find this makes all the difference in winter. The shared spaces are fully equipped. There is a new bathroom with a nice shower, a functional kitchen and a comfortable shared living/dining room with a small TV. The room for rent is the master bedroom and it is furnished. The flat is on the ground floor with its own entrance and only one flat above, with nice neighbours. The flat has a lovely back garden with a patio, lawn and conservatory which is great for the spring and autumn.

I work Monday to Thursday as a Community Organiser, mainly from home. I use the desk in the living room for computer work and online meetings on and off from 9am till approx. 7pm. If you also have work/studying to do during these times, it will be worth getting a desk for your bedroom.

I organise community volunteering activities in the local area (gardening, litter picking etc.) and you would of course be welcome to join in with these if you wish. I have nice friends who come round every so often. In terms of Covid safety, I am in a bubble with my partner and his child who goes to school (they live nearby).

I am looking for a flatmate who is tidy and clean and respectful towards the flat, and me. I would like to live with someone who I can have dinner with when our schedules match up and who I can learn from and have interesting conversations with.
