Small double room available for single occupancy in uphill Lincoln, and just a 5-minute walk to the beautiful Bailgate/Cathedral Quarter, 20-minute walk into Lincoln and plenty of buses at the end of the street/every hour. Very convenient for Bishop Grosseteste University. Academics and mature students welcome.

The room is furnished and includes all bills (fair use policy/dependent on home working).

The house is lovely and peaceful and ideal for a likeminded professional with a mature outlook. Only two people sharing and one cat which is perfect. Overnight guests are ok every other weekend Friday and Saturday nights only, and with prior communication, ensuring everyone is comfortable at home. Cleaning is shared, but willing to consider sharing costs for a bi-weekly cleaner.

Communal areas include kitchen (with your own fridge), dining room, sitting room, and a bathroom located on the ground floor. There's also a washing line in the garden for drying. The garden has an apple tree, edibles, traditional flowers growing and a large charcoal barbecue. There’s also a decking area at the bottom of the garden with a chiminea, which is ideal for relaxing. Garden visitors include hedgehogs, frogs, squirrels and many birds. Baby bats occasionally circulate on warm summer evenings.

On street parking is available without restriction.

About me… I’m pretty much a ‘what you see is what you get’ type of person. Worldly, educated, friendly, easy going and always see the funny side of things. Love conversation, sharing a meal or film from time to time while respecting one another’s space. I love cats and culture too! Not one to watch soap operas and talk about the weather!

Absolutely no smoking/vaping in the house, but fine if you take it down the bottom of the garden, away from the house and neighbours.

Rent is £450 per month including bills (fair use policy/dependent on home working).
