Single room available now

The room

I have a single room available in a small house near Portland Street/Sincil Bank in Lincoln, about five/ten minutes walk from the train station, city centre, and uni, and just round the corner from Tesco.

The room is furnished with a single bed, wardrobe, desk, and various storage. The only other occupant of the house is myself (plus my often visiting girlfriend in non-lockdown times), with shared use of the bathroom, kitchen (with oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and washing machine), and two downstairs rooms (although one of those I rather fully occupy as a studio), plus a back yard.

Rent is £270 per month, which includes gas, electricity, water, internet, television license, household insurance, and council tax (if applicable).

I am pretty quiet and neat, and a photography graduate, now working as a blogger and for a charity ...so I'm a lefty arty type. All the following labels could be comfortably applied to myself: vegan, feminist, nudist, chocoholic, artist, trekkie, environmentalist.

Nearly everything in the house gets recycled, or put in the compost bin in the backyard. The house has also been super insulated and had solar panels installed! Due to my environmentalist outlook I would not be comfortable living with a driver, and would prefer a fellow vegan, or at least vegetarian.

I would not be looking to have the room occupied until after lockdown restrictions have been eased more, so not to be stuck at home indefinitely with a new stranger.
