Fully furnished bedroom

I have one bedroom (3.5m x 2.5m) to rent in a lovely 3-bed Victorian house in South-East London. The room is vacant and I will be starting viewings immediately, in order to rent it out as soon as possible.

The other two housemates are female, and I am looking for another female to join them.

THE ROOM:

The room is on the second (top) attic floor. It is furnished with a double bed, bedside drawers, shelving and has built in cupboard. It has a very large east-facing window and has been newly painted.

EN-SUITE BATHROOM:

The room has an en-suite bathroom, containing toilet, small bath and sink, with a large window.

ROOM DETAILS:

Nb.
1. The room is not fully insulated and has no build in radiator. However, for winter, there is an effective plug in fan heater and an electric blanket, which makes it warm.

2. As the room is an attic extension, the ceiling height is relatively low (185cm/ 6’1”), so the room is definitely not suitable for a taller person.

THE HOUSE

The rest of the house is well-maintained, double glazed and newly refurbished in the last few years.

On the ground floor, there is a large living room/dining room, kitchen, and bathroom (with walk-in shower, toilet and sink), which are all shared with the other housemates.

The kitchen has a large fridge, dishwasher, clothes washer/dryer, oven/hobs, and storage cupboards. There is also a garden with a patio and seating area.

The other two bedrooms are on the first (middle) floor.

RENT INCLUDES:

- All bills (council tax, electricity, gas, water)
- Fast broadband
- A weekly visit by a cleaner

OTHER HOUSEMATES:

Also living in the house (in the two first floor bedrooms) are two females - English and Polish, and both around 30. Both are quiet and friendly, have full time jobs and are out during the week.

ABOUT THE AREA

The area is quiet and safe, and the neighbours are friendly.

The main transport is Abbey Wood station, which is on the Elizabeth Line. There are also mainline trains direct to London Bridge, Cannon Street, Charing Cross - it also goes direct to Woolwich Arsenal, Greenwich and Lewisham. There are also direct buses to Greenwich and Woolwich.
