Newly redecorated cosy airy double bedroom with its own kitchenette and private bathroom in a large family house in a beautiful and very quiet cul-de-suc street in Abbey Wood, opposite the park, Lesnes Abbey and woods, within 5-6 minutes walk to Abbey Wood station.
Available for a FEMALE lodger.

The house has been extensively refurbished/ redecorated and will be a home to myself and my husband in the near future. Meanwhile, the studio type room is available now. The room is on the first floor, overlooking the garden. It doesn’t have a private entrance, hence I can’t call it a studio, but we will be mostly staying on the ground floor, and the lodger on the first, so living arrangements will be very much separate and the lodger will have privacy.

The room has got double glazed window, real wood flooring and plenty of storage space. The bed is comfortable, duvet, pillows, bed linen can be provided free of charge. Kitchenette include double electric hob, extractor, sink, microwave, fridge with freezer box and array of pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. There is a washer/dryer and clothes drying rack.
The house will have BT fibre internet with guaranteed fast connection when we move in, meanwhile we will provide the lodger with a prepaid dongle for internet access.

The location is second to none: enjoy quality quiet “out of city“ feel with excellent transport links from Abbey Wood station (zone 4). Trains will take you within 30-40 minutes to various locations: Canary Wharf (via DLR), Greenwich, London Bridge, London Cannon Street, Charring Cross station, etc. Nearby buses also run in different directions: Woolwich, Erith, Bexley Heath, etc.

Nearby there is a large Sainsbury supermarket, smaller Coop and a variety of small shops near the station.

We will prefer to have a FEMALE lodger with a minimum of 6 month contract stay .
Rent is £500/month with additional £100 contribution towards the bills, so in total £600/month. £200 deposit is required.

Though we don’t live in the house yet, I’m there a few days a week and we are planning to move within a month or so. We have a pet African Grey parrot who will be roaming free around the house, but will be unlikely to fly to the first floor.
