I am advertising a double room available now in a friendly flat by Aldgate and Aldgate East stations in Zone 1.

There is a kitchen and living room with a dining table and sofa, and the room itself is a double with a wardrobe, chest of drawers and full length mirror, with room under bed storage. I have also added a desk to the room for homeworking.

The building has a roof terrace with tables and chairs and a pergola, with views of Canary Wharf and Tower Bridge. There is a concierge at the front desk, so the building has 24hr security, and you can apply for a parking space (there is a below ground car park).

The location is so central - 5 mins walk to Aldgate East Station, 10 minutes to Aldgate and under 15 minutes walk into Shoreditch or the City. Tower Bridge is about an 18 minute walk. There is loads to do in the area, Spitalfields Market is only a short walk and there are millions of bars and cafés nearby. Brick Lane is 5 mins away.

You will be living with one other person, a friendly teacher, who is 27. She is easy going and we chat in the evenings, but she gives you your space. She is quite into her cooking and going for lockdown runs.

Bills are on top, at another £100 per month. We have hyperoptic broadband as well, in case freezing zooms are a perennial problem in your home working life where you live now.

The ideal flatmate would be either a professional or postgrad student, someone friendly, tidy and female.

It's available now, but I do have scope to be flexible on move in dates.
