Warm friendly grown up house share

Hey future Roomie ❤️

Our names are Sophie and Carl and we are looking for a 3rd person to join our lovely house share. (**we are not a couple, just roomies).
The House:

We live in Alexandra Palace (Right next to Alexandra Palace park and station) on a beautiful quiet leafy street. The house is set over 3 stories, in perfect condition, all the bedrooms are big and bright. We have a lovely lounge, two high spec bathrooms, big kitchen with all the mod cons, large south facing garden with a bike shed. We also have a lovely little spare room for when family visits (whenever that’s possible again!).

The room is the massive master bedroom overlooking the garden, it has a lovely four poster bed and a dresser but this is not a deal breaker if you prefer your own furniture.

We have good broadband which has served 3 full time jobs and zoom meetings for the last 3 months.

Our living style...

We are social people but equally we are sensitive to when people want their own space.

We aren't party people, we work hard and have busy jobs so we like our home to be a calm, sanctuary.

We are clean and tidy, respectful of communal spaces, and maintain a welcoming friendly atmosphere.

We love hosting dinner parties and celebrating the holidays, obviously with the dreaded big C this is not currently happening but we hope to do something nice in the garden soon (weather permitting!)

We have a wonderful cleaner Angie (she came back in July after a lockdown hiatus). Angie comes once a week and does all the communal spaces and deep cleaning.

A bit about us...

Sophie is 37 years old, originally from San Francisco but has called London home since 2001. She runs her own theatre company, currently working from home or cycling to work when needed. Sophie enjoys cooking, Yoga and a friendly chat over a good coffee.

Carl is 40 and works as a film maker. He currently also works from home most days except when filming, on these days he cycles or drives into work. Carl enjoys all the sports, Malbec, travel, and of course a friendly chat over tea of coffee.

Someone who has lived in house shares in the past.
Team player – pitches in with all the normal runnings of a happy household and enjoys being part of a communal space.
