Large Double Room available in Old Street

I’ve got a spacious and light double room available in a flat in Old Street.

13 minute walk to Angel tube station
9 minute walk to Old Street tube & railway station
Plenty of supermarkets all around
16 minute walk from Britannia Leisure Centre (gym/pool/basket courtyard/fitness classes/etc)

The room is fully furnished with a Double bed, closet, mirror, desk space and ergonomic desk chair, as well as a chest of drawers and library space.
it was a huge south facing window making it so you’ll have light coming in at all times of the day ☀️

The contract ends mid September, and move-in date is flexible: anytime between the 15th of February to the beginning of March. Have the following documents ready if interested:

- Job Contract or Student Reference (acceptance letter)
- Copy of ID or Passport
- Last 3 Payslips
- Last 3 Months Bank Statements
- Previous residential address

If you don’t have payslips and/or are a student don’t worry, you’re still eligible to rent the room but you’ll be asked to pay four months of rent in advance to be able to (3850 with deposit included),

The agency taking care of the letting is VV properties, which have been incredibly lovely and responsive with us. Check their google reviews as well if you need any more reassurance!

You’ll share the place with 4 professionals all aged 22, all of them working full-time and outside of the house.
Looking for someone easy going, down for a glass of wine every now and then, must be LGBTQ+ friendly.

Council tax is C band and comes to £21 pounds per month per person, deposit is £770 and will be placed under a deposit protection scheme, EPC rating is D.
Broadband is £15 per month per person, and electricity and water rarely go above that amount as well.

In all transparency: being an introvert I’ve decided to look for a different place with fewer housemates for my own peace of mind. I’ve lived here for 4 months now and love how central it is: to put it in perspective, it’s a 20 minute walk away from the Barbican and a 20 minute bike ride away from south bank.
