We have a double room available in our beautiful and cosy home in the heart of Angel. It's available on the 8th June 2023.
Note: the diposit is £1400 (not £1260 as on the ad) - spare room doesn't let us make it go higher than this, even though it is roughly 5 weeks rent.
The Flat:
Sunny and spacious living room with a table, chairs and comfortable sofa, large and beautiful bathroom, fully equipped kitchen (granite countertop, gas stove, oven, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, loads of cupboard space), 3 lovely bedrooms, laminate floors in common areas, double glazed windows, lots of storage space, and a gorgeous roof terrace with 360 degree view of the city! The terrace is all ours :) The shower pressure is great!
The Room:
It's fully furnished room with a double bed (we can replace the mattress), two wardrobes, a desk, large grid bookshelf and drawers.
The Flatmates:
Both are professionals. We are tidy, sociable and relaxed. Aaron has lived in the flat for 7 years, and Patrick moved in last summer. Our flatmate moving out has lived here for over a year, but is moving back to Canada. We're looking for someone similar - tidy and respectful. We have our own lives but do like to share a meal/drinks/chat together from time to time. We have friends over from time to time and go out on the weekends but please don't bring the party home - this is not a party house.
We are: Aaron in one room, Patrick in another, and then you in the room advertised here.
The Bills:
Bills will be around £100 to £150 per month (cheaper in the summer) which includes Council Tax, Gas, Electric, Water + 120Mbps internet (fibre). We have a good wifi setup.
The Neighbourhood:
It's extremely convenient and vibrant. There is a massive Sainsbury's superstore, Waitrose and Marks & Spencer all within 3 minutes walk. Opposite Sainsbury's is Angel Central that comes with many stores and high street brands (Argos, H&M etc.), several restaurants, a Vue cinema and the O2 Academy! There is a market literally just a stone's throw away from Tuesday to Sunday (organic Farmer's market on Sunday). There are also tons of great pubs, restaurants and cafes around there. Last but not least, the famous and trendy Upper Street is only a 3 minute walk where you can find even more restaurants, pubs and cafes that you'll love.
# Although there is a market nearby, we're at the end of the street so it's a quiet and pleasant flat yet you can easily enjoy the best things Angel has to offer.
The Location:
The location can't be beaten! It's only 4 minute walk to Angel station which is in zone 1 and is extremely well connected.
* Angel tube station - 4 minute walk
* Many bus routes including night buses
* Cycle hires - 2 minute walk
* Regent's Canal - 2 minute walk (if you like running it's about 20 minutes to Regent's Park and the canal is amazing)
* Kings Cross - 15 minute walk down the canal
* The City, Old Street, Shoreditch, Camden - 20 minute walk
