Friendly Female Seeks Housemate
I’m looking for a new housemate for a flat in Archway/Highgate (Zone 2).
The street and area are great. It's a very quiet street and the neighbours are mostly families. Two blocks up you're in Highgate, three blocks down you're in Archway. Crouch End, Holloway Road and Finsbury Park are also within walking distance.
The room and other parts of the flat are not luxurious but it’s cheap, in good shape and in a nice quiet/safe area with great transport links and a nice landlord.
(Sorry for the quality of the images. The bedroom and other rooms are actually quite bright. The bedroom is very bright when the sun is out).
- No full time students or couples please
- Room is unfurnished
- No Living Room
- Good Sized Kitchen (fits dining table/chairs and small sofa)
- Bedroom is a proper double
- Good water pressure
- Recycle (including food)
- Bedrooms are on opposite ends of the flat
- Washing Machine
- Bedroom is very sunny
- Basement for storage
- I have a cat and a neighbours cat is a frequent visitor
I come from a visual arts background and currently work in film. I enjoy cooking, the arts, walking, airplanes, current affairs and tons of other stuff …..
In terms of who I feel would be compatible in a housemate is someone who is ….. considerate of others, honest, nice, has a positive mindset and is friendly.
I would rather not live with someone who wants their boyfriend / girlfriend / friends etc. over frequently please (weekly is too much). I'm also best friends with fresh, cool and refreshing air so can't live with someone who likes hot, stuffy, sauna like environments. If this is not what you want, then we will be sad, not happy living together.
I’m more than happy to have a chat but equally happy if you want to keep to yourself.
In terms of cleaning I'm not overly fussy, but do like to live in a clean and tidy environment. I'm just not someone who wants a rota or has issues if you don't clean your dishes straight away. Ideally we will get a cleaner.
