Spacious double room in Highbury/Arsenal

There is one room available in our house in Arsenal. The room is available from the 15th of October (this is flexible) in our three-bedroom house, located in a very quiet area 1-minute walk from Arsenal station (Piccadilly line) or 10 minute-walk from Finsbury park station (Victoria line). There are several bus routes from Seven Sisters road or Blackstock road, 10 and 7 minutes respectively, with great connections to Camden, Angel, Hackney, and central London. Move in date could be earlier.

The room is a spacious fully furnished double (coffee table and shelves not included) on the first floor of our house. Access to the house is step-free, but there are stairs to get to the room upstairs. The house has a small kitchen, one small toilet (semi private to the room downstairs) and a bathroom/toilet upstairs (shared between us three). The house is in a gated development and benefits from a 24/7 concierge. The agency does not accept housing benefits unless they have a UK guarantor. The agency will also ask for references from previous landlord and some sort of proof of income (payslips or bank statements).

You are going to live with a 29-year old PhD student in neuroscience and teaching assistant, working full time from home since the start of the pandemic. When not working, he is found helicopter parenting his plants, stretching with pilates, baking pastries, and the usual music listening and tv watching to wind down. You will also live with Adam, a recent addition to the household. Architect by day, dancer by night! He can be found either drawing away in Fitzrovia or dancing his socks off in Southwark. Keen on chilling as well as exploring the city, he LOVES a good film (subscription to MUBI included) and learning about different languages and cultures. Not so good of a plant dad but he's working on it!

Since there aren’t any roomy communal spaces in the house, we occasionally hang out in the kitchen while cooking but we mostly just chill in our rooms when at home. We are looking for someone easy-going, friendly, and clean, who respects other people’s living space, and wants to call this place home.

Bills are approx. £80-£100 a month
