Lovely ensuite double bedroom in Balham

We have a lovely double bedroom available in our spacious four bed home in Balham, as our housemate Alice is sadly moving back home. It is available from mid-March but we’re pretty flexible on dates.

A little about the house: We have beautiful large open-plan kitchen/dining room (with dishwasher, washing machine, and large fridge-freezer), as well as a spacious lounge with Sky TV and Netflix (with a Firestick for all the other apps). We also have a garden with a BBQ, which we make plenty of use of in warmer weather.

The room is £827.50 per calendar month, and is situated at the top of the house. It is fully furnished and has a private ensuite with toilet and shower, and a couple of skylights which provide a great view over Balham.

About your new housemates: They are Emma (28), Evelyn (27), and Adam (25). We work in marketing and the civil service. At the moment, we all work from home, but luckily there is plenty of space, so we all have our own room to work in, which is ideal.

We’re looking for someone easy going and sociable, who is up for watching TV together in the living room and sharing the odd glass of wine. We all get along well, and have a great balance of spending time together here and there whilst also seeing our own friends (lockdown restrictions permitting…)

Bills are approx. £90 per month (inc. heating, water, broadband, tv license and council tax), and we also get a cleaner fortnightly (again, when lockdown permits) as we like to keep the place tidy.

-We are ten minutes’ walk from Balham tube/train station
-Ten minutes’ walk from Sainsburys and Waitrose on Balham high road
-Every Saturday there’s a farmers’ market selling locally sourced produce just around the corner
-Tooting Common is a stone’s throw away at the bottom of our road, which also has a lido, if you’re feeling brave enough!
