Two month sublet in huge room, Balham

Our housemate is sadly fleeing the nest after five years to take up a job in Scotland, so we're looking for a fourth member for our friendly house in Balham.

The Housemates

Start with the important stuff! You'll be living with Nicola, Steve and Dani. We're a really relaxed household, in our late 20s/30s, all lived here for a while and get on really well.
While we've all got busy lives and appreciate the need for our own time, it would be great to find a new friend who'd be keen to hang out in and out of the house (and who can help us attempt to beat the Balham populace at the local pub quiz. Success has so far been variable).
There'll be a bit of a turnover in the next few months as Steve and Dani are moving in with their partners, so then we'll look for two new people who can keep the homely, friendly vibe going.

The House.

This is a big three storey Victorian house, less than five minute walk from Balham High Street with all its amenities and tube/train station. Five minute walk to Wandsworth Common and close to Tooting Bec Common. Balham has everything you could want - cafes, bars, pubs and loads of green space.

The house is big with a lot of storage space throughout plus an attic and basement. There are 4 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with shower and bath in both, 1 downstairs toilet, living room, separate large kitchen and a private back garden. We have a spare room that could be used as a dining room/office/utility room, whatever you like. A little rough around the edges in parts (just paintwork), hence the low rent, but means there's a lot of flexibility to redecorate or organise as we like.

There are two rooms available (photos of the large room to come) - one is really nice, spacious double on the second floor, it gets a lot of light and faces the back of the house. The other is a huge room at the front of the house o the second floor. All the furnishings (double bed, two bedside tables, chest of drawers, wardrobe, desk) will be left with you for free.

The Tenancy.

The room is available from 1st August (can be flexible). It is likely that this will be for two months, until the end of our notice period 1st October - there is the option to discuss with the landlord any possible extensions, which we'll help you with. No agency fees or deposit.

Total monthly cost per person is £500 (this can be flexible). This covers everything: all rent and all bills including Virgin Media TV package and a cleaner, and some sundries like cleaning products, toilet paper, etc. We think it's a great price for the house size and area.
