2 beautiful, spacious and filled with light rooms is available from end of November.
2 of the current flatmates are moving out ( one relocating with job, other- moving in with girlfriend) and I am looking for someone to resign the lease with me, I like the place and don't wanna move.
The apartment is a 3-bedroom, located on the top (7th) floor of a building next to Barbican complex. The building has an elevator, bike storage, parking space and a concierge. One other room is an en-suite, other - you would be sharing a bathroom with me. Each room has access to the balcony through ceiling-to-floor windows/doors, thus giving every room tons of light.
The building is like 2 mins away from Barbican station, c.10 mins from St. Pauls, and c.7 mins from Moorgate, so pretty much anywhere you need to get to (within zone 1) is reachable within 30 mins. Many places are also just walkable.
The apartment has a large living room with couches, projector and sound system where you can relax and watch netflix or have dinner with friends or flatmates at a big dining table. Kitchen is also pretty spacious equipped with pretty much everything you might need.
About me: I do investment banking near St. Paul's, so I am usually at work from 9:30 till midnight or later, barely ever at home. On weekends I tend to just go to gym or hang out with friends, sometimes they come by apartment, but not that often. I am pretty chill and fine with both being friendly with flatmates and spending time together or just doing my own thing. with current flatmates we got along super well, even though ended up in the apartment randomly. So I would be looking for someone who is happy to watch a movie together or have a meal, but at the same time is very respectful of personal space. There is no pressure to be social or do things together, we mostly just go along with our lives. You are more than welcomed to have friends over as long as it's mindful of others.
The rent excludes all bills. They tend to be c.100GBP a month with internet, but vary depending on season, winter we use heaters so may be more, summer barely anything for electricity. I am looking preferably for professionals. Having said that, I am open for discussion and have flexibility.
