Flexible move-in date!

We have one room available in our beautiful Georgian terrace house. I am sad to go (having spent over two years living here) but am moving out to live with my partner.

Ideally we are looking for someone that can move in August, but we can be flexible and wait up until early September.

The flat:

Occupying the lower ground, ground and first floors of the building, the flat was completely refurbished within the last five years and is in good condition throughout. The flat has its own private entrance. There is a separate kitchen (with dishwasher) and living room, south-facing garden (with shed) and separate laundry and dryer space. The flat has two bathrooms - one family bathroom with tub and toilet and one separate WC.

There is plenty of communal and private space suitable for working from home. The private garden is particularly welcome on sunny days in lockdown!

The house is furnished to a basic degree (beds, wardrobes, dining table, sofa) so the listing photos are a good reflection of what you’ll be moving into!

The bedroom (first room in the video!):

The double bedroom is ideal for a single occupier on the lower-ground floor of the flat facing the garden (very quiet). With a south-facing window the room is super sunny in the morning and afternoon and has its own little stretch of patio which leads into a larger garden on the ground level. It is furnished with a double bed frame, mattress, wardrobe, bedside table and bookcase (optional). I also keep a small desk in the room to work from home (although often use the communal spaces in the rest of the property as well).

Neighbourhood:

The house is based on a quiet and peaceful street in beautiful Barnsbury. There are three great pubs within a 5 minute walk, and all the restaurants of Upper Street a 10-15 minute walk away. It’s a 10 minute walk to Highbury and Islington station, with overground links across London and underground into central. It also has the advantage of having - in my opinion - the best brunch place in London at the end of our residential street ('Sunday' - check them out on Instagram!). Nearby you also have Clerkenwell and the cool new Coals Drop Yard development in Kings Cross. The location is fantastic, and there are always new places cropping up!

Particulars:

The property is managed by KFH, who have been reliable and responsive throughout the last four years of us living here. You would be signing a new lease with a 6 month break clause.

Housemates:

You’ll be living with Anna, a 27 year old working in international development, who is interested in yoga and travel. Anna is super polite, tidy and respectful of others.
