Hello!

We are looking for a replacement flatmate to join our lovely home in Islington. The flat stretches across two floors (second and third floor) of an iconic Victorian building overlooking a leafy park in the heart of Barnsbury, Islington, zone 1.

LOCATION:

5 mins walk to excellent pubs, restaurants, fashion boutiques, street food markets and vintage markets in Camden Passage in Angel
5 mins to Buses on Upper Street
12 mins walk to Angel Tube Station
12 mins walk to Highbury & Islington Overground and Tube Station
20 mins walk to Kings Cross

Supermarkets are really nearby. We're also very close to a good selection of parks.

THE FLAT

The flat is spacious and has homely feel to it. Your room is on the top floor with another bedroom and the bathroom. You will be sharing a bright and spacious living room and kitchen which have high ceilings and overlook the square.

FLATMATES

You will be sharing with Hal and Suze. They are both in their early 30s and working professionals, working from home and occasionally heading into the office. Both are super friendly and sociable flatmates that enjoy the occasional movie night, pub trip or dinner party. Interests include photography and music (Suze), reading and tag rugby (Hal) and cooking (both). Suze has lived in the flat for 7 years and Hal has been in the flat for around 3 years.

We have settled into a good house routine and it is a nice working environment. They would love for someone to join the flat who is friendly, chilled and independent, but has similar interests to keep a fun and relaxed house vibe.

HOW MUCH IS THIS?

The costs are:
Rent for the room - £700
Bills (internet & tv license & council tax incl) - £164.50 per person
Cleaner - £20 each every 6 weeks (the cleaner comes bi-weekly and we take turns to pay)

+ deposit of £768.34 as the house is being rented through an agency.

THE CONTRACT

You would be taking over Natalia's name on the contract. The contract runs until 31 May 2025. Following this there will be an opportunity to extend if wanted.

THE ROOM:

The room has built in wardrobe and shelving, and there will be a bedframe and mattress available if the person moving in would like to purchase those.

Move in date: 1st of October, however there may be some flexibility to move in before/after this.
