--- About the Single Room --- (please read it till the end)

Our current flat mate is leaving our lovely house and we are looking for someone to take her room. We offer a cozy single room (NO COUPLES PLEASE). It is fully furnished room with a large double bed, a wardrobe, mirror and a wide chests of drawers. The room was renovated 1 year ago and it comes as you see it in the photos.

--- The Ideal Flatmate ---

The flat is shared with 3 other people – a friendly couple (both 29 y/o) and a lovely girl (24y/o). For us it is very important to make this place feel like home as much as possible and be on friendly terms with each other, as well as to respect each other and our personal spaces. This would not be a place for you to throw parties, but rather a quiet place to relax and chill after a busy day at work or during the weekend.

--- About the property ---

The flat consists of 2 floors. On the first floor there is a decently sized integrated kitchen, a spacious living room and a small balcony. On the second floor there are 3 bedrooms, a bathroom and a toilet.

The flat has incredible natural light in all rooms. We have a fully fitted kitchen with gas stove, microwave, kettle, toaster, a new washing machine, fridge and freezer and others cooking appliances. The living room has a comfy sofa, TV and a large wooden dining table with 5 chairs.
This is a place where we usually chill and relax – have dinner together or have a movie night with popcorn.

The street where we are is a dead-end street, so the place is really quiet and there is no traffic noise which is a huge advantage especially for London.

--- The Neighborhood ---

Battersea is really vibrant neighborhood, full of cultural events all year around. There are many pubs, restaurants, bars and a couple of cinemas in this area and in Chelsea which is just on the other side of the river. There are also the Latchmere Leisure Centre and the Chelsea Sports Centre nearby if you want to go to the gym, go swimming or book a workout class.

Battersea Park is in 5 minutes walking distance from our building, so it is very convenient if want to take a walk, go jogging or have a picnic in the weekend. In Battersea Park we can also recommend visiting the tennis courts, there are also a couple of ponds in the park where row and pedal boats can be hired. Each November you can enjoy the Bonfire and Fireworks Night in this park as well.

You will also have the opportunity to enjoy the stunning views and sunsets of Thames river (also 5 mins walking distance).

We have a Co-op supermarket 8 minutes away which is really convenient for daily shopping, as well as there is Asda, Lidl and Boots near Clapham Junction.

There are a few bus stops nearby (less than 3 mins walk from our building), a tube station and overground station in Chelsea (around 15-20 mins walking distance).

The bus service is very convenient. Within 10 minutes you can arrive the following stations:

(A) Sloane Square or South Kensington tube stations (access to Piccadilly/ District/ Circle lines)
(B) Victoria Tube station and Railway station (access to Victoria line and the National Railway Service)
(C) Victoria Coach station – National Express coaches that go to all airports, Oxford, Cambridge, etc.
(D) Clapham Junction overground station/railway station (direct train to Gatwick Airport)

*** There is a night bus services and 24-hour bus services, so you don't have to worry about commuting at night.
