Bayswater is also the home of Queens Ice and Bowl which is the only ice-rink and bowling alley in London.

For those of you who prefer the outdoors, Bayswater can offer Hyde Park, where you can have a picnic, go paddle boating or running. There is also a gym with a spa and a community library nearby. There are also many convenient stores such as Waitrose, Tesco Metro, Tesco Express, hardware shops, electrical shops and laundrettes.

- Royal Oak (Hammersmith and City Line): a straight tube to Warren St and Farringdon which is ideal for UCL and City students.
- Buses: Many direct buses to various universities - 23 to the Strand (stops in front to King's College London and LSE) and the 27 to UCL, 70 to Imperial. Other buses of interest include the 23 to Liverpool Street, 94 to Piccadilly Circus/ Leicester Square, 27 to Camden and 390 to Notting Hill Gate.
