I am looking for two new people to join me in signing a new contract in the lovely house I'm currently residing in, as both my flatmates are moving out. The rooms will become available on the 14th of April and are both £633.33 pcm in rent plus ~£100 for bills; Water, Council Tax, Heat/Electricity, Broadband.
You will be sharing with a gay physics researcher and his 3yo well-behaved whippet. I like to consider myself tidy, clean, quiet and respectful of personal space, but also enjoy being social. LGBT friendly and Vegetarian a must, no students-sorry. Cosmo mostly spends time with me and loves to sleep for 18+ hours a day, mostly on my bed.
Ideally we are looking for two working professionals with whom we can sign on to keep the good house vibes going. I'm Vegan and would love to put together a no-meat household so please let me know if you'd be happy with that. Once I find person number 1 I'll then include them in the decision making for person number 2. (As much as I love having multiple dogs around, we'll have to carefully consider whether a new furry addition to the house is possible)
The house is bright and airy with high ceilings, hardwood or tile floors, lots of plants and good light. There is plenty of space - in addition to the kitchen (washing machine, dishwasher etc. included), bathroom and bedrooms, there is also a shared lounge, dining room and additional study (currently used for extra storage).
The two rooms available are:
-Ground floor: a good-size double, with a North facing bay window and original fireplace mantlepiece. It is part-furnished with a double bed, wardrobe and shelving unit. (see pictures - red boxed room in floorplan)
-First floor: a bit smaller of a double, with a South facing window and built in wardrobe. It is part-furnished with a double bed, and a mirror. (this room is a bit smaller as you can see in picture - bedroom (2) in floor plan ).
There is a large south-facing garden with a patio (ideal for BBQs, summer coffees and a bit of play with the dog) and a large shed for storing bikes etc. The property is within 1 minute from the cycle Greenway on a quiet residential street and a 5 minute busride to Upton Park or 10min to Canning Town.
