A stylish, light and spacious 2 double bedroom split level apartment with a patio and direct access to the landscaped communal garden to the front and back of the flat. The small apartment block is situated in a quiet and leafy street in Belsize Park situated between Hampstead Heath and Primrose Hill.
Guest access
You will have access to a private double room with fitted wardrobe, bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, living room and there is a separate WC on the ground floor. The room and the bathroom is situated on the 2nd floor and can only be accessed by the staircase. Full use of the patio and communal gardens. Free Wifi. Cleaning lady once a week (included).
Guest interaction
I will be working from 9 to 6 during the week and are an avid traveller over weekends myself so I might not be home very often. However when present I would love to share my knowledge of the area (especially Hampstead Heath), giving suggestions on places to visit or activities. Maybe even sharing a glass of wine now and again.
Neighbourhood overview
The apartment is ideally located between Hampstead Heath and Primrose Hill are both wonderful green spaces in central London with splendid views across the city. Hampstead village can easily be reached with its splendid high street shops. Camden Town has something to offer for everybody with markets, pubs, restaurants and clubs. Hampstead Heath and Belsize park has all the amenities like groceries stores, coffee shops, bakeries and some good excellent local pubs with beer gardens. Central London and West End is only a short tube ride away which also runs 24h over the weekends! Royal Free Hospital is 10min walk away.
Getting around
10 minutes walk to Belsize Park (Northern Line)or Chalk Farm (Northern Line) tube stations which takes you to the heart of the West End at Leicester Square in 10 minutes. For business travellers it is an easy 15min tube ride to Bank station. Hampstead Heath or Gospel Oak overground stations can be reached in 12min walking. Closest bus stops are England's Lane (Stop S) (3min walking) for bus C11 or Steele's Road (Stop Q) (4min walking) for bus 168 or N5 (night bus). Can also catch bus 46 in Hampstead Heath Village which is 10min walk away.
Other things to note
Guests are welcome to make use of various board games, playing cards and books. There is also a projector connected to Netflix and cable Tv.
I am looking for like minded flatmate to share the house with me on a short term basis. Ideally only space for 1 person, but the room can accommodate a couple on a short term basis. Prefer non smoker. Need to be mindful of the neighbours in the block of flats.
