The flat is a two bed/two bathroom and shared with just myself, an easy going architect (male). It would suit a mature professional with a home outside London. You will have the flat to yourself for the first couple of months as I am working from my main home in Berkshire. It would suit someone working in London who wishes to minimise their travel in and out of the city at the current time.
The room is a very good size, decorated in a neutral colour with full length patio doors to the balcony. It is furnished with a king-size bed, a double wardrobe with lots of storage, a desk, chair and wifi. There is under floor heating and linen and towels are included along with all utility bills.
Shared use may be made of the large living/dining area with fully equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher and a washer/dryer. The flat is in a great location, situated close by to popular Bermondsey Street and its many restaurants and bars, just a 10 minute stroll from the Thames and within easy reach of shops and other local amenities. Bermondsey tube station (jubilee line) is an 8 minute walk and London Bridge tube (jubilee & northern) is a 15 minute walk. Both the No 1 bus (with direct access into the West End) and the no. 78 bus stops right by the apartment block.
The monthly rent is £750 and a deposit equal to that amount will be required on commencement of the tenancy. Strictly no smoking. Room is available from Monday 15th June 2020.
