Lovely huge room on the edge of Blackheath

Big double room available in a pretty grand Victorian building looking over the heath. The flat is on the first floor and is very large, with a nice kitchen and living room. Lots of space for two people (I've also lived with a couple here before and it was still big enough - open to this again :)

Situated on a quiet road midway between Blackheath and Lewisham stations (about 10 mins walk to either.) The landlord lives downstairs and is lovely and very laid-back but also does repairs when needed. I've been here 3 years and it's a bit of a gem in London renting (I've seen my fair share of horrors in the past, haven't we all.)

The building may be grand but I am not ;) I'm down-to-earth and love living between posh Blackheath and more normal Lewisham, but having all the greenery right on my doorstep. I run my own small food business with a friend - ok it's a popcorn business so if you live with me you get free delicious popcorn. I'm also about to qualify as a therapist and do that freelance too. I do yoga in the living room, which is plenty big enough, and there is space for bikes in the building.

I'm laid-back and have been flat-sharing for years so know how to share space. I have my own life and friends and need my space, but I like to hang out in the kitchen and have a drink sometimes. I'm not into cleaning rotas or drama now I'm in my thirties. It's all about being friendly, sensible and respectful.

The flat is huge and on the heath (10 mins walk to Greenwich Park) so actually a good spot for WFH and lockdown conditions. We don't have access to the garden but there is some nice space at the front of the building to sit with a book and it is an incredible sun trap in the evening - a good option while the pubs are closed...

I'm open about who moves in - for me it's all about meeting and seeing how we get on. So drop me a message if you're interested. Open to any move-in date after mid-July.
