Available to rent is this large double bedroom in a Georgian apartment located only 5 minutes from Borough Station.

The Flat – We have a three-story terraced house of which the top two floors are ours. The house is part of a row of identical listed properties along our peaceful side street, and part of the renown Trinity Estate. The kitchen and lounge/dining area is on the lower floor and the large bathroom and two bedrooms are on the top floor. The rear of the flat overlooks beautiful gardens and greenery and is very quiet. The property has gas heating so plenty of hot water.

The Location – we are in the best location ever! SE1. Zone 1. A 7-minute walk to Borough Station for the Northern Line. An 11-minute walk to Elephant and Castle Station for the Bakerloo Line and National Rail services. A 14-minute walk to London Bridge Station for the Jubilee Line and National Rail services. Not to mention Borough Market and South Bank. And depending on where you work, a 30/40-minute walk commute without delays, overcrowding or costs and the perfect way to enjoy the summer weather.

The Room – the room looks over the rear of the property and gets lots of sunlight, especially in the morning. It is large enough to fit a double bed, free-standing wardrobe, chest of drawers, bookcase and side table, all of which are included with the room. The curtains are block-out and there is a full height mirror on the back of the door.

The Housemate – She is a young professional and is super friendly. Our house is our home and we like to watch movies, share a takeaway every now and then, chat and generally look out for each other. We are not party animals and like to keep clean and tidy. We expect anyone living here to have a similar appreciation. We would prefer if you are female, professional, and a non-smoker for this reason.

The Legals – You will be required to undergo reference checks and sign a standard lease agreement with our Property Management company. They will engage you directly to do so. The room is available from 1st June and on a fixed term lease (minimum 12 months). Our lease does not allow smoking, pets or subletting in the property.

The Money – there is a referencing fee of £45 payable to the Property Manager (Knight Frank) for them to conduct relevant checks, this is mandatory and non-refundable unfortunately. The rent is £850 payable in advance on or before the 1st of the month to Knight Frank. The bond is £930 payable to them also and refundable on exit of the property providing there is no damage sustained. Bills are shared and approx. £130 each per month in addition to the rent.
