Large modern double room with en-suite

Hi! We are Loïc (human) and Pizzi (cat),

We have available a large, en-suite room in our 2-bed apartment. Move-in date is to be confirmed, but will be around late September / beginning October.

The flat is new, managed by L&Q, is on the ground floor and has a large patio that’s perfect for barbecues and drinks. Inside, there is a spacious communal, open plan kitchen/living room/dining area. I own a large TV and have Netflix and Disney+. Floor plan is attached.

We only moved in this summer, but my flatmate Taro is relocating to Japan to pursue new adventures, hence why the room is available. Pizzi is actually Taro’s cat and is staying here until she is ready to join him in Japan. But in the meantime, she and I are very excited to welcome someone else to make it our new home!

Area/transport: we are 6 minutes away from Bow Church station (DLR) and 10 minutes away from Bow Road Station (District and Hammersmith & City Line). Mile End (Central Line) is 1 stop away and West Ham (Jubilee Line) is 2 stops away.

The flat is located in an easily accessible yet quiet, secluded area. We live directly behind Grove Hall Park, and the River Lea is just on the other side of the roundabout. The canal is perfect for a run, a bike ride or a walk.

The room has a built-in wardrobe.

A bit about us. I, Loïc, (one of those weird-to-pronounce French names), am 28 and have been living in London for more than 3 years and work for the government in competition law. Pizzi is a 1 year old female tortoiseshell cat. She is sociable and a bit of an attention-seeker!

I generally work Mon-Fri, 9-5ish (sometimes longer) and will generally be out a few times a week either for dinner or seeing friends etc. I am looking for a professional to join me in the flat (no students, sorry). It would be great to have someone living a similar lifestyle, easy going, clean, and LGBT+ friendly, but also someone who’s keen to watch Netflix and Disney+ with me, be up for a drink or barbecue on the terrace with friends (we have a grill) or just a drink down the pub.

Bills are approximately £130 per month and include everything you’d normally expect (including BT Broadband).
